I just put one on my Viper. It's a real nice plate, quality aluminum and nice workmanship. The hardware is not the most heavy duty, but it is stainless. It should have a threaded slat on place of the inner nuts so it's easier to loosen and tighten from the outside without needing a wrench on the inside to hole the nuts..
Also, I added a lock collar so it can be be lowered by the force of the adjustment bolt instead of gravity...which requires it to be way too loose to move. Without the collar, the bolt just backs off and it doesn't go down. The top side adjustment bolt is real handy though. If you are going to adjust it a lot, thicker side bolt washers would be a good idea.
this thread is gonna get deleted. The last time I brought up Vance Mfg. it got aced, probably because they are not a supporting vendor. The Reverend, (Cedar Machine Service on Facebook)

great product, heavy but great. i ran one on a 19' with 2.4bp in some very heavy seas with no issues. only thing that let it down was soon started corroding when sat in salt water marina. just need to make sure it is fully bleed.
