Having a hard time
I need a set of rings for one piston for a chrome bore 2.4. All I can find is a set for the whole engine. I have some for steel sleeves but I don't think I can use those since they're chrome plated rings. Does anybody know where I can just get rings for 1 piston only?
82 checkmate enticer- 78 2.0L merc 175hp. - currently being rebuilt.
81 checkmate exciter - 2.4L chrome bore 200

I have ONE set (two rings) of 2.4 rings at the house...not sure if they are for chrome or steel.....I can look tonight...

Check part # 39-813011A12. I think they are what you need but not sure. I do have a few of them.
