If I don't end up selling it I will have the fastest 21 action when I push it between 88 and 90 mph , I met a guy named Mike who claimed his was fastest but I figure he's talking 75 tops .

Mikes runs mid 80s, I've seen him do it in the Keys. He's got a Mariner built by Shaun Torrente. I've had my Paramount to 70 on more than one occasion. Typically 67-68 is tops though running light. The Action will run mid 80s if powered to.
I've also seen Paramounts that are quite a bit faster than mine down south.

That's awesome to hear , that kid was really excited and he's got a lot more ambition than me in my older age I hope he really enjoys it , we will just have to see what happens down the road never say never , when I sold it last year the guy who bought it basically told me I would never see it again then he found interest in a 23 action and sold it back to me , ya never know .

The Tijuana Taxi...remember this boat. It used to come into our shop to get engine work done on it by our head mechanic Bobby at Hewes Boats in Miami. It had a 235 Evinrude built to the hilt and mid-range acceleration out of this world. The console was set back and the bolsters were very snug to drop into. The boat felt very lite and the bow would just float. Mid 80s was what it ran. I would love to have this out here in AZ tearing up the lakes.
