There was only a limited number of 21's made by Action. All of them were built between 1980(ish) -1982. Finding one is hard, finding one in good shape is near impossible. The same boat was built by Olympia for a while but they're not exactly easy to find either.

They are a minimum of 10 mph faster than a Paramount with a standard 200 Merc. Been there.

Let's see...this would have been circa 1986 with a brand-new Olympia 21. Stock 200 Merc carb motors back then. I think you'd have a hard time locating it by now, lol. Olympia's(company name originally named Olympic, before being served a cease-and-desist order from the U.S. Olympic Committee lawyers) were built by Dan Wertz & his wife Lyn@Dan-Lyn Fiberform in Boynton Beach Florida, before he moved to a shop behind his home in Jupiter, Florida, in the late 80's. Looks like Tribal Boat Works, out of Punta Gorda, Florida, has access to the old molds these days. Let us know what you find out, if you get ahold of them. Saw you idle by the house again, after putting in at the 15th street ramp. Boat still looks nice.

Thanks for the info, will do. That wasn't me that went by you though. I know the boat your thinking was me though, but Ive got a Merc 225hp, the other one has a Johnson I believe. And my rub rail is white. Mine was also built with the console setback 12 inches more than the others. I've talked to the guy with that other Paramount, nice fella and takes good care of his boat.
I don't know why I'm so stuck on finding an original 21' Action Marine? I just would like to have it, kinda like a classic car I guess. My Paramount is in premier shape and runs fast for one of these hulls and I could do some bottom work and it would be the exact same boat as the Action. Or I could seek out an Olympia or look into Tribal Boatworks, but the HIN# still wouldn't be for a Action Marine. I know this could take years and a lot of work, but thankfully I am happy with my current boat, so I can patiently search.
By the way, I saw an Olympia for sale a few months ago out off of 441, south of 595. I thought it was an Action Marine when I drove by. Should've seen the UTURN I did. Mayhem.

I had a friend back in miami that had one of the first 21' ACTIONS , He worked with BARNEY SR, his was a black hull with some silver flake down the side, had a 225 MERC v/6, center console was way back w/ a double seat almost on the transom, had bolsters and full front cushion so I'd say full interior, the boat ran 77mph with two people and full gas, boat ran on the pad, just 6-10"s in the water at speed, SWEET...don't know where it is today, there was a white hull on craigslist from Ft. LAUD it lasted one day!!! Would love to find one myself, with today's power options it would be a rocket...
