It's certainly somewhat of an odd-ball. The top half is different from all the other 23's I've seen, but the bottom looks the same. I've measured it and it's 23' of 'glass, 24 with the brackets.

The deck looks taller than other 23's I've seen. Very cool.

I found some pictures of the same year 24 and there are some definite differences. Mine does look more like the 24 than the 23's of the same year. I dunno, though. I've made multiple attempts to get information from Eliminator on the boat and they never respond.

I am thinking 24' the 23 Daytona's are 23'10" Eliminator in Ca will not ecknowledge there is a 23' cause they never made one in Ca.The 23's where made in wisconson. The 23's had a bubble deck and left steer. Yours is right steer and no bubble deck.Could be a 23 with a different deck, what year is it? What is the hin #. Nice job on the boat, looks great.

My buddy order a brand new 23 ft daytona eliminator from Bob Leach in February 1986 with a mercrusier 454 330 hp alpha drive with a B&M 177 blower that was installed by Tom stolarz. I was there when the the truck pulled up in front of his house in early April pulling a huge trailer with the 23 and 2 19ft.daytona's that were going to San Antonio. They were not making eliminators in Wisconson in 86. In 88 they came out with a different deck but still made the original style for a short while after.

It's definitely a 1990. I talked to Bob Leach and he didn't deny this boat. He requested pictures. . . twice. . . and I sent them. . . twice. . . but never heard back.

Eli, notice the stripe on the side of yours vs mine. They're almost the same. Also, the bottom of yours looks very similar, if not identical to mine.

What's the deal with Wis vs Ca? Was it the same company?

I was told that Eliminator cut a deal with with someone there in Wisconson to build I think only certain model Eliminators and that they even schooled them on how to gel and lay the boats up. I think the reason was to sale more boats in other parts of the country at that time. There may be some older Wisconson built boats out there but 1988 is the oldest I have seen and the models are the 23 and 19ft daytona. Then Obsession took over and the only boats they built that I recognized to be Eliminators was the 23 and the 21.
