    custom cowls....

    has anyone out there built their own cowl or modified an existing cowl to achive a custom look? im kicking the idea around and looking for ideas...post up some pics

    i modified this one to fit my 3.0 had to modify the pan to workClick image for larger version.  Name: dm 184.jpg  Views: 127  Size: 50.2 KB  ID: 251700the hood is stock. this was a hood for 2.5 and it fit perfect.i know you run johnyrudes though

    Here's a hood from a 72 3 cylinder evinrude I put vents into and then air brushed. The one picture was taken while finishing the vents.

    looks good...i dont mind seing the merc stuff too...i may learn from what youve done and be able to apply the concept to a rude
