I am building a 80 HP Merc triple. I flow tested the reed cage on my flow bench with stock reeds and with Carson's sport reeds. At 10 inches of depression, the stock reeds were 72.2cfm, Carson's reeds were 77.8 CFM.
7% flow increase and no possibility of engine damage from a reed failure! Win-Win!
They are the reeds I will use from here forward. He is a great help and has a lot of good, real world experience to share too.The Reverend, (Cedar Machine Service on Facebook)

I bought 2 sets of reeds from Chris and I can say he is one of the nicest, most helpful people I have had the pleasure to deal with. I can also tell his reeds would be superior in flow to the B---- reeds I removed from one of my engines.
