I have a 2 hole CLE on my 1992 Merc 200 and have no problems at idle unless I get into weeds. They can be the kiss of death with these things. I even keep a Torx driver and Pipe Cleaners in my tool box so I can jump in, remove the side plates and clean things out if needed. At WOT, if anything I have too mch water pressure.

Stock CLE's seem to work best on hulls that do not need positive trim to get best top end, low propshaft height and positive trim scrub speed.

You need to cut the cone off the case to fit the Bob's on. Take it to Ronnie Holzmacher in Bohemia to do it, you will NOT be sorry.
