CVX-21 project - need some information

Glastron CVX-21 is about to go back together.
drive is a 455 olds packajet- berkley

Can someone send a few pictures.
There a few things that I cannot figure out.

someone took the boat apart and I am putting it back together.

    1) where does the oil cooler mount? I have the mounting bracket and cooler but I can not determine where it actually mounts and how long the hoses should be.

    2) where in the world does the oil pressure transducer mount. I've looked all over the block but cannot see where the oil pressure transducer should be placed.

If someone could snap a few pictures of their engine I would appreciate it tremendously.

    1) Should be connected to the hose that comes off of the jet (inside of transom) as far as length of hose my cooler is at the lower corner of the block right before the manifoldClick image for larger version.

the oil cooler mounts to the bellhousing on the left side as your facing the rear of the engine , the oil pressure sending unit is mounted at the front top of the engine right of the oil filler tube on the same ledge .

Thank you! My bellhousing does not look like this one. Must have been a different year or model. Still helpful, though. Thanks again.

Great information! thank you very much. That'll make things easier to figure out.
My bellhousing does not have that shape in it to receive the oil cooler but the bracket I have looks the same.
I'll just have to figure out somewhere to mount it that's close to the oil filter housing, etc.
Thank you very much for the help!

Carlson might have had to change a few things in the CVX-20 engine bay to shoe horn everything in there , its a little smaller engine bay than a CV-21 . the CVX-20 with the OLD engine option is pretty rare , i think it was only offered for one year before they dropped it went with the ford 460 .

Those Carlson's are great boats with a huge following. They are pretty well documented. How about a few pics of what you have to work with?

Here are some pictures. The boat is in better shape than it appears in these pictures. Hull is in good shape. Vertical surfaces clean-up like new. Horizontal surfaces that have been sitting out and facing the sun don't clean up as well. Really needs buffing and at some point new clearcoat.

If anyone has advice on how to configure the interior and/or how to go about actually completing that part of the project, please let me know.
Any suggestions on where to purchase helm seats?

it looks like you have a 1975 CV21 , the last year of the CV21 and the only one with the swim platform then they went to the CVX20 for 1976, a completely different boat .

Yes, you are correct. It is a '75. Anyone have pictures of how they've done an interior on a similar boat?

I am looking for ideas on how to finish off the interior.
