Whats are the dyno numbers Yamaha F 150 @ 6000 RPM

I have read several diff HP readings that the 2011 F 150 is making at 5500 RPM. Has anyone had a F 150 on a dyno if so how much HP did it put out at 5500 RPM and at 6000 RPM. Thanks for any help. Joe Raimondo

send me your email, I have a French Test from 2009 were they Truly dyno tested EVERY 150, Merc Opti, Verado, Etec, Zuki, Honda, and Yamahammer......the F150 is a Very Strong motor, however it does have competition, Mercs new 150 is insane, we are putting one on a Walleye boat as I type, its INSANELY huge, yet lightest in its class.....

FOXLAKE-H.O. thanks for the dyno sheet. I am trying to find someone that reads french and can give me all the details. It looks like the max HP is at 5750 167 HP on the Yamaha F-150. Thanks again . If I can get this read I will post the information. Joe R

This hp curve gives the power outputs of two popular 150hp outboards.

thanks for the 2nd dyno sheet

.Thanks for the sheet seahorse.I see the numbers are not the same as the first sheet but still I see the F-150 power curve is very close on both runs and that the max HP on the F-150 are between 57500-5500 on both test runs. The first test was from a 2009 F-150 and this was from a 2006 F-150-. If I split the dyno test first had 168 HP @ 5750 second has 160 @5600 looks to me like it would be a waste of time and fuel to turn the F-150 more than 5800. This dyno information came from Evinrude so I am pretty sure that they are not going out of there way to make the Yamaha numbers look better than they are. I would think that these numbers are real close to what a stock F-150 . Thank you for posting this dyno sheet. Joe R

Yeah and Evinrude is not going to show that the 150 Etec Regular in the french dyno test was over 180hp at 6000 rpms???? Marketing, take it all with a grain of salt.....Im lookin for a Very Cheap 150 etec for my Lil Stream....

The one thing about the Evinrude tests on their 150 and the Yamaha F150 is that the dyno is a professional model that is calibrated per ISO specs. Not only that but barometric pressure, air temp, and humidity is accounted for. The dynos at Mercury, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki and others all have the same calibration and accuracy per the industry standards so each one would give similar results.

The French magazine probably used an inexpensive small-business dyno that is not approved or calibrated for ISO and ICOMIA specifications that the whole marine industry abides by.
