I'm running a 22 hydromotive on my 89 22 velocity and looking for maybe a little more bow lift. I've wondered about maybe trophy, bravo one, or Promax. I have a 280 with 6 inches setback. Thinking more setback may help as well.

    25" Bravo XS
    20' Lake + Bay Backwater
    300R 10" bobs
The bravo is a terrific all around prop, gets on plane fast, bites in turns and at any prop height, carries a fishing load without a problem.......light will still do 75 mph at 6400 RPMS...... I got 78 mph out of a 28" Promax, but as soon as I added my 120 lb wife would only run 72.3 mph.......Have a 27" Bravo XS on order for running when the boat is light.

    28"p×14 5/8" Signature 4 blade cleaver.
1984 laser ltv, mariner 150 supermag.
Honorable mention to a 28p big ear dah worked chopper.

    28"p×14 3/4" signature 4 blade eagle.
    1995 bullet 20dc, mercury 200xri.

    25p tempest. Champion 202, mercury 225efi.

All these props are the fastest I've tried, relative to the hull/power listed above. When the water gets rough, or the air temp gets real warm, I will go to a 3 blade and maybe 26p, on the light boats. The champion I will drop to a 21p.
