    Question 2.5 reed cages

Whats going on guys, alright i got a question for whoever can answer it.I got a 2.4bridgeport with 7peddle boysen reeds.I just got my hands on a set on 7peddle cages outta a 2.5 260.The ports have been machined larger then my other 2.4 cages. Will the 2.5 cages ruin my proformance or will they work better?I turn the motor around 73-7500ish with the 2.4 cages. So b4 i throw these in my mota just wondering if any can give me advice
    thanks

Tha 2.4 cages ARE smaller than tha 2.5 7 peddle gages in stock form...The actuall opening ov tha intake iz smaller than tha 2.5...If U put 2.5 cages on that 2.4 manifold, it won't do ya much good, and even may hurt flow kuz ov tha mismatch!!!

Rex has your answer, for sure, and in my opinion the stock 7 petal Bp cages are more than adequate for 7500 rpm's,you might like my reeds better....,Chris

I run the 260 blocks in my carb 2.5 and dont have any complaints about em besides the crappy idle but if ya start in gear it dont matter. The more compression you have the more you will notice all the intake/exaust work you do to a motor. I'd stick em in there and run em.

Try Chris' reeds. You wont find better products and support after (or before) the purchase and I am a picky S.O.B.
