    so what did you use to do that great polish job?

    I used a medium scotch bright on my high rev pin grinder to knock the bulk of it off. Then I wet sanded it with 1000 grit, then with 3000 grit. After that was done I used the 3M heavy rubbing compound, then the 3M medium rubbing compound. Then the Mcguires metal polish and finished it up with Mcquires carnuba wax.

    You have created a high maintainance situation for yourself. But Flitz is the best product to keep it looking that way and it also protects. After every use its imperative you keep it maintained.

    I would keep it waxed real good, collinite has a metal wax I think. We used to wax all the polished and stainless hardware on super yachts when I used to detail them. If you can find one with a light polish in it, that will help.
