I haven't been able to make it since it was on the Harris Chain of Lakes, maybe the first one. Russ does a great job, I want to support him, so if I succed in rebuilding one of my carbs tomorrow than I plan to go up. The Friday lunch runs sounds like fun, but reality is I wll probably only make Saturday.

Sounds like fun and a good cause. Russ filled me in on the event at Sebring but I know I have to work. I'm shooting for Dec 17 with my son coming in for the holidays. I can't seem to interest him in muscle cars so maybe performance boats might do it!

We will just be getting back in town, so probably won't make this one. Have fun!

This was posted about the run on BOATFREAKS

What is the deal with the Boating Toys for tots tour. The First thing is that the event is FREE to come to, we welcome all to put your boat in the water and bring a toy to the US Marines , we are most interested in seeing that gifts and toys get to deserving kids. . Registration for this event will be about $19 or less , For this you get an event T-shirt and admission to the two live band parties. This optional as the Tour is FREE.

The host Hotel the Quality Inn is a River front hotel ;with free docking with a room rental . The rooms on average are about $58 dollars a night not the hundreds like at other events. Call 386 328 3481 as rooms fill fast.
The st John River is fresh water so it is less harsh on your equipment, also there are NO speed limits on these waterways so we must stress good sportsmanship. This event Is a US marines event and receives support from the Mayors office off all the towns and cities on the tour It also receives positive support from the City Police and the Sheriffs office who respect your expertise with your powerboats. We welcome you to join in on the fnb of this most unique boating event, for more information call Rus at 407 760 3481 or E-mail raceboatrus@aol.com
