What about building a gutted version with a stand like the Alterscale models like the one photo you have above on the boat. That would be a cool display model and a lot cheaper, Im sure you would sell quite a few.

I think hand made is better than Mass produce / time and care are put into each boat and outboard , Wade and I are doing this for fun in the hobby and it is not cheap . I am not a large hobby company with Investors and deeeep pockets LOL .. we both have hundreds of hours and $$ put in to this crazy project . We both have agreed not to have this stuff Mass produced in China and become CRAP ,(keep it USA made ) the bottom line is we take pride in doing this not to get rich from it , I know $2,000 base price is high but try puting up the start up money and time . you would pull your hair out LOL !! I know I have from time to time ..

Got to disagree with you. Compare what the jet guys are spending for their engines alone. This is a unique quality peice of hardware that anyone would be proud to display, much less to run. The problem with a lot of boaters in the US is they dont want to get off the wallet and poney up.

Glad to see an American company thinking outside the box and actually doing something about it. The Europeans are far ahead in the RC boating world but you guys could teach others a thing or two.

Totally cool , no one on the PLANET is doing more than you guys are !! bigger skeg might help from what I have seen on some other setups . The larger skegs keep them from swapping ends .
