Holy cats, as you probably know, with 60hp less (give or take) LTVs could run 100mph+ in modVP. I can't wait to see what yours will do
Send us a postcard from the moon when you get there in yours

Some may remember Chris Bush's recreational toy boat in the 1980s, his infamous "Fishing Boat" (so named because when he registered it with the Minnesota DNR, they asked what kind of boat it was and since there were few other choices on the form, and there was a "fishing boat" choice, that's what he indicated--tongue-in-cheek, of course). The "Fishing Boat" was an original narrow-deck LTV with side-steer interior, no foot throttle or remote trim buttons, and what was bascially a 2L Champ powerhead under a a stock 150 cowl. Crazy fast and of course with Bush behind the wheel, incredibly nimble and quick. It was even mentioned in a Powerboat Magazine story on Chris in 1988. For those who don't know, Chris was one of the best tunnel boat pilots in the history of the sport, right up there with Mr. Bill, Renato and that rarefied handful of boat racing's superheroes that could make a boat do what most others only dream of making it do.

I'm redoing a charger stv witch is basicly or closely the same hull and layup and I was curious I you had a pic of the interior completed. Mine will be painted mosty white with red an black but my dash and interior sides will be black like yours. I'd like to see how it turned out with the seats and all installed. are you going with white seats??
thanks

The bow light vents and grab handle are origional to the boat we scuffed them down and used a candy apple red spray bomb on them.
The interior will finally be done this coming week we have gotten a couple pieces of it back and it looks great. Very nice pleat work the color is red with silver and black. I will post pics next week after it is finally finished.
