    Olds 455 rebuild ?'s

    Hey guys
Looking for all the info you can help me with about rebuilding a 455.... I need to also figure out what year mine is? I mean mine seems to run fine and strong still pegging out at like 55-58mph but it is original, looks original, and sounds like an old car!!!!!!!!!!! I would like to rebuild it and make it not the fastest boat out there but a sound, reliable, loud jet boat. Maybe a nice cam and rebuild kit.... Any info would be great and figuring out the year would really help too.....Thx

Probly the the best thing would be a mild roller cam, and intake. Roller cam for longevity / tq, and intake for a little extra hp. A good jet pump is worth extra performance too! The Olds has it's limitations of extended RPM operation, mainly oil control.
