    ANY INFO? 1991 Hardin/Caribean/Tahiti 200-GT

Boat was bought new in 1993 @ the Anaheim boat-show. Have orginal bill of sale. Sold as new in 1993 -- 1991 Tahiti (by Hardin) Model 200-GT w/ 1988 Mercury 200HP Black-Max. All original & I am the 3rd owner it appears. I have a ton of receipts for engine work and lower unit work, maintenance records, etc from when it was new until now (& also a factory brochure I can scan and post up .pdf files of; if anyone is interested?)

Seems to be pretty quick, a bit more than I expected anyway. I was shopping for a "jet-boat" when I found this one and couldn't pass it up for the money. She has the Mod-VP tunnel type hull, of which I had never riden in or driven previouse to this boat. I have had a couple of Merc outboards before (4's & "Towers"); although this one is a bit new to me as well. I'd like to eventually hang a Merc 2.4L or better on her!

If it'a an '88 200 , it is a 2.4 liter finger port chrome bore . There good motors for running arount on . I still have a couple I run . Although I don't have any information on your boat , it sure is a good looking ride .

Thanks Rich!!! Compression checked out @ between 125 to 128 on all 6 cylynders this spring... It seems this should be a bit higher? Motir was dyno-tuned about 3 years ago as well.

Thanks Vnemous! It is a full-four-stringer hull, hand-laid glass from the factory. Have that in the original brochure & bill of sale, etc.

I was suprised to see somone making this style of hull in the early 90's; It seems to have died-out before then...
