    Cool power Trim removal

    Hello

I want to change out my complete power trim unit for another from a motor I bought that has a bad cylinder but am not sure how to remove the cotter pin from the main cylinder pin near the very top . I think it may be threaded ??|This is on a 1989 Black max 200 hp

    Thank You Jim

the pin is called a trilube pin, it is aluminum. Take a punch and a big hammer and drive the trim pin out. It will shear the trilube pin. That is how we do it.
