v6 crossflow interchange with v4 crossflow midsection and driveshaft?
Will a v6 crossflow drop on to a v4 crossflow midsection? Is the v4 driveshaft the same as the v6? Thinking of swapping powerheads if the v6 would fit? Thanks

Not that it will help, I,m guessing no. The reason is the prop shaft is fatter, i,m assuming the drive shaft will be also. [..Warning this is not affirmative thanks].

You just have to change the exhast adapter and it will work. You should change to a v6 gearcase too though to get the right gear ratio and prop.

Your gonna need a lot of pitch with that lower. But yeah, the exhaust adapter with the attached tuner is the only differance in the v4 and v6 mids, oh yeah the cowling also.

I know sometimes the v4 came with a v6 case. How many splines is the prop shaft. 15 spline 1.86:1. 13 spline small case 2:1.

Very true on alot of pitch. I don't think I want to drive this boat much past 80-85 though.
