Carb boiling over - gas vapors in engine compartment - need help
I am not sure if this happens often to people but I am having trouble keeping my gas from boiling and vaporizing while sitting after pulling for a bit. I know this can't be safe but I am not sure on how to fix this. I am running a olds 350 with a Rodchester 2 bbl carb. Now this is not a marine carb.
Any help would be nice!!!
Thanks

A heat shield may help. You will probably have to manufacture one for that 2 BBL. Are you sure it is boiling the fuel out of the bowl? I have never heard of that being an issue on a boat. You may have an over heating problem with the motor.
