Does anyone have a picture of how the spark plugs on an Optimax should look like?

I just came upon this thread, and I see #6 as normal and #5 as rich and oil soaked thanks.

What year is this motor, and how long have this set of plugs been in service? Some don,t like champion if those are,I,m not impressed with the yucky black coating on #5 of 5 . Are you running rich oil, cheap oil, I,d try a new set and monitor closely. This is my opinion only thanks.

Thank you Terry for your reply.

Year is 2007, spark plugs are in service for about 30 hours (NGK), i never used other oil than Mercury,s DFI and the engine doesn't use too much .
Can anyone tell me what to do about the horn problem?

If you want to clean it the cheap way just pull the injector out and hook it to a 9 volt battery and spray some carb cleaner through both ends and blow it out with an air hose. If that somewhat fixes it the pull all of them send em to Brucato for a proper cleaning.
Your running leaner on the #6 cylinder than the #5 cylinder. The filter in the injector must be getting dirty. Pull the injectors and have them cleaned by brucato or hydro tec. They will test the injector before and after cleaning the injectors. They will pint out the results of each injector. So you can see how each injector come paired.

If I was setting the fuel up on your motor I would set it like the #6 plug. The #6 looks good to me and others are rich.... But to get the plugs the same you need to get the injectors cleaned.
