Alternator Mounting on 455 - Need Help
I have a 455 Olds engine that's going into a '75 Glastron CVX-21.
I have a single wire GM alternator
I need to mount it to the motor now and don't have the parts to do it.
If you have a similar arrangement on your boat can you send some pictures and possibly explain what materials you used to create an appropriate stand-off from the block and also how you arranged the tension adjustment bracket.
Thank you in advance for you help

I like the one I use, short drive belt, nicely tucked away.
Got it from Mondello's.
