i have a winrace and put a 40 hp on it. i bolted an alum plate on transom and mounted the engine. i got 50mph out of the boat but it took me 2yrs to learn how to drive it wide open. this boat will scare the living daylights out. it is not a toy, but a true race boat i understand that in norway they run a 30hp and got 59mph out of it. i think i am running an 11"X18 clever. i setup the prop a little deep because i run in the great south bay off long island and i needed the depth for the choppy water

In Norway and Europe we race the UIM GT15 and GT30 with Winrace boats. That means 4-stroke 15 and 30 hp EPA engines. The boat on the picture at the intro of this tread, is most likely built for 2 stroke 15 or 25/30 hp. (Boat model may be MK6 or MK7)
Setup depends on enginepower and weight.
Need some more input on these elements, then the ideas and tips will come ;-)
