quickie on indexing FICHT plugs?
When indexing plugs on the 225hp FICHT, my father in law and his brother seem to be under the impression that, you position the open end of the electrode so that the pressurized fuel blows right into it. I was under the impression that you put the electrode with it's "back" to the fuel stream, sheltering the center electrode from the high pressure injection.
Who is right?

thanks, al. BTW, the FIL grew up in Parker, AZ. his dad, (wife's grandpa), ran the pumping station on havasu, that pumped water up into the aqueduct, and they lived in one of those houses right on the lake. he's been a sponsored bass fisherman for years, and knows a LOT of the marine dealers (and former), in the southwest.

Al, do the Opti's require the plugs to be indexed also? Don't see anything about it in the Merc manual.
