We ran 600's on our 468 for years with no problems. My last set I thought i would try the 465cfm tunnel ram carbs and they are alright, but i will go back to 600's my next set. I have had an idling issue since I bolted them on and the only thing I can think is the idle circut is too small for a big motor.

hey guys when i talked to my motor man he said rule of thumb if it runs great with a single ,double the cfm when going tunnel ram.of course it depends on mods .shoot he told me to run twin 750s on mine .sounded like too much to me and went with the 650,and it a little on the rich side.but then again my boat weighs a ton

hey ilove the look of 2 fours i run 2 830 carbshop worked carbs on a heavy moded 500 in. turning 7400 rpm .but i set it up for 400 shot also.i have an idle ie 1700 rpm .if i was going to do it again i would say RUN A SINGLE AND MAKE MORE POWER AND LESS TUNING.your engine sounds semi stock i would try to stay around 1150 to 1200 cfm and jets at 74 .if it will turn 6000 rpm your cam profile needs to make a good vacuum signal if it does not you will bog when you stomp it .to help this you need 50 cc pumps .the reason your motor man said to run 750s you have tuning ability.to reduce this YOU HAVE TO KNOW CID, RPM ,VOLUMETRIC EFFICIENCY

With the 950 it it turns the A+ imp 5600,never gpsed the thing tried but the screen blurred over 77 mph, motor vibes? It was borrowed.
Thinking the 1150 will be good for 5800 or 5900
