Motorola ECU testing
Looking for someone that has the capability to bench test my Mtorola ECU for my '99 2.5L 280 Offshore. Any suggestions?
I recently rebuilt this motor because #5 scored at 169 hours. I have not put my finger on the cause and would feel a lot better if I tested the ECU.
This is the second rebuild in a few years. 169 hours ago I had to sleeve #4 & #6 when I first bought this boat. I suspected that blow up was due to old gas and too high pitch prop.Jeremy Lewis

With 169 hours on a 280, the cause was probably...it was due.
169 hours is getting on up there for a nic motor.

I hear ya. I'm going to get religious with leak down checks and start re-ringing around 125 hours from here out.
