Looks like another date would be better than you guys losing your money on the resort. The only weekend I can't make it would be Oct 1st. I'll leave it up to you guys.

For those that called the resort yesterday... Call them back and ask them if they think the lake will be normal by the weekend. I'd be interested to hear what they have to say.

There is a lady from our area that stays in the same camp ground as us and they are up at the lake. They are closing all ramps to the lake as well as the resorts. They have their boat at a slip at the resort and they need to let their dock lines out because of how much higher the water is.

My dad talked to her and she said the lake is "absolutely trashed."

At this point, when they are able to let water out, it isn't going to fix it for a while. There will be so much stuff in it you won't be able to run.

We have a pretty big gathering the week of October 10th-16th, and at this point I am just hoping it is back to normal by then.
