Here is the post from last year with some pictures. Always a good time and no hassles from the law. We have the lake to ourselves.

Anyone else concerned that the dates may be just a little too early to avoid the lake being like an ocean with A LOT of boat traffic? I just returned from there today, and the huge boats throwing unreal wakes made for a real miserable time of it. If it were usually like that, I'd sell my boat. I think maybe this event was somewhat later in the year past years?

My friend is was a long time Raystown boater says the traffic dies off after Labor Day. School, college, broken engines, etc.

I've also been a Raystown boater for many years. Just offering my opinion on what I have witnessed up there. Usually by late September or anytime in October, the lake has emptied out of the big pleasure boats. They give me no "pleasure".......LOL.......in my little Allison. Of course, fairly early morning boating works most any time up there, but early isn't 11:00am. Bigger boats, like some have, surely do eliminate or decrease the problems many of us smaller boat owners have when the lake is rough. Unfortunately, a bigger boat isn't in my future plans, too many other obligations.
