I have Ray Hansens old HST. We had a long talk about it all the first time I went to Jasper and he told me to buy a STV and put hydrostream emblems on it.
I've been 127 a number of times in it and that particular boat that is it and probably 7 mph past it's limit. Mr. Cavanaugh and I went through a process of a 33 cleaver and a couple of very healthy 2.5'. The molds for Gregs boat were pulled off of mine. It will be going for it's 4th..and last rebuild this winter.
These are not the boats you want to play top end hero in. Dixon and Wally have humbled us all and it is best to be left at that.

That old Hydrostream site was great but that was twenty years ago - GPS had barely come out if I remember right so who knows if the top speed numbers were legit - having said that - to see all the boat models and the different guys that owned them with the speeds posted was pretty damn sweet.
