Last i heard Barney was in the process of moving his shop. The only molds he has now is the new syle 18 action and the 23 action that can be made either center console or side consoles. Depending on motor application and set-up would determine your speed. I know my uncles 23 center console with a stock johnson v8 runs in the high 60's. My is still in the tweeking stage so I dont have a speed yet. Here are a couple of pictures.

The Paramount hulls are made from action marine molds. They are pretty sweet center consoles, and the last I heard Paramount was in Hollywood Fl. (not Barney though)

It was a 1980 action marine barny boat, a good friend of my uncle had it custom made , it was all origiñal when i sold it with stand up wrap around racing seats they were garage kept and like brand new , ive heard of buyers remorse but ive got the worst case of sellers remorse that a man can have , ive aleady tried to buy it back to no avail , anyoñe ready to sell one im looking . Ive got pics of it , once i figure out how to upload them on this forum i will put them up . It was the day i sold the boat , after the fact i received a call from someone who knew the boats history , he told me that right before barny went to jail he chopped up all the molds for these boats and very few were made , i have been kicking myself for days ! Its ireplacable ,

It ran 85+ with a 235 evinrude bored and suped to the max , when the engine was first run on the boat it cracked the transom from so much torque so they laid under deck a honey comb stringer configuration , when you would punch it you could feel the floor shift under the engine torque , that boat produced the biggest rooster tail i have ever seen to date and it handled like a cadilac. 954 321 9440 , try this number i saw it online under action marine inc.Last edited by airbow; 03-11-2013 at 03:56 AM.
