Thats good info on the increased cup on Odd vs Even pitch, and the effects as well.

So the odd pitched props should run like what they are stamped since the even ones always ran like they were one pitch size smaller.

Interesting read on the Bravo wheel...
Did not know they had em' for outboards... while lurking aorund on the Merc site a bit, I found myself in a daze, purely lusting on that sweet lil' SST motor.... looking at the SST boat pics and saw this one below,,,,,,what the heck is all that rigging on the boat in the picture?

That is Chris Fairchild's DAC all rigged up for either the 24 hour of Rouen race or 24 hour endurance testing for Mercury. The lights are for night running of course and all of the rigging above the cowl is to make it quick and easy to crane the boat out of the water quickly for fuel/maintenance stops. Chris currently campaigns that same boat here in the US in PROP Champ Boat racing.

Mercury Bravo 4 blades have been used down here on the big centerconsole & performance offshores with O/B's, since they were first introduced, way back in 1997.

Anyone dumb or bored enough to read my posts knows that I have been running Bravo's for 5 years on my Superboat. I've tried so many wheels that I'm surprised I have any threads left on the prop shaft. The Bravo isn't the fastest wheel, but it sticks like glue in rough water and in turns. I always come back to it.
