If you are talking about a 3L EFI, 300 Pro max or Super Magnum. You can never go wrong with a Brucato. Mercury actually uses their SVS as standard equipment on their 2.5 EFI Drag and F1 Race Outboards. Than in itself says alot.

Also I have never heard anything bad about Eric Simons products.

all depends upon what year 3 litre you're talking about, if it is prior to '01, the brucato is easy to retrofit, but ultimately the 300x is better but requires more work to do,because it gets the injectors out of the airstream, but probably winds up costing the same as the svs system, and the same w/ the later 3 litres, the 'x' style is preferable for the same reason

I understand that. Brucato makes a SVS for his 3L application. I was simply making a statement as far as the 2.5 Drag and F1 Brucato SVS being used by Mercury.

Tony told me that his SVS will not work on a 300X and only the MAD EFI would work or you could get the bigger throttle body from Simon. I also think that Sean Torrenct(I know the spelling is wrong) is making a bigger throttle body then Simon does now for the X. Chuck

I have owned and used all available intakes. I have 2 mad efi intake for sale along with programmed computers. I prefer the Simon intakes though.
