Battery isolator with 3.0 alternator
I was wondering what kind of battery isolators you guys use. I have a Merc 3.0.
Pro cons to either kind?
I have used the diode type in my truck before and it worked fine.Boatless at the moment. Looking for a 24-25' V

I would recommend a BlueSea CL-Series battery link, not an isolator. Google their site and it will all be explained.

I checked out the blue sea. I have used those "smart relays" before with mixed results but never the Blue Sea brand.
Anyone else?Boatless at the moment. Looking for a 24-25' V
