I believe ground is to the case. and positive goes thru two different wires to the hot sides. There are two hot wires i think so the motor can turn in two different directions. One on the up side comes off the cylinoid and the down is a direct shot from your down switch. Look for the positive wire leaving the cylinoid (sp?) and try jumping it directy from there and the case.
Try jumping it and tapping on the motor with a mallet. I bet its just bad burshes. I got some insert brushes at my local starter repair shop a few years ago and had mine fixed in an hour. I think there are two long bolts thru the motor that need to be unscrewed and then the motor comes up and off.

Ok sounds simple enough. This afternoon, I intend to look into it a little further. But I figure that even if the brushes where bad it would try to do something. Maybe? Or rather like a starter a hot spot would atleast click, while brushes would do anything do to no contact? Thanks again for the input.

Isolate the motor by disconnecting it fro the solenoids, put the ground from the motor directly on the battery neg an one of the other wires touch to the positive, if it works, try the other wire, if it still works, the motor is good if it works one way or doesn't work either way, it's a bad motor

Trim pump appears to be in bad shape. Missing brush on one side and old dry grease throughout. :-/ New/reman pump or try for a electric motor rebuild? Thinkin a rebuild would be reasonably priced?! Dropped interior at shop today and preping to do some poly resin work this week. Would like to thank everyone for their help and opinions.
