    removing trim ram in a 84 200 merc, single ram trim.....

    got everything off/out. but the trim ram has a small pin that is supposed to be pressed/hammered out. the service manual says to remove from front to back, which i've tried a few times. It's not moving at all, i'm not sure if it's normally that hard or i'm just not hitting it that hard. I don't want to mess anything up, i've put some pb blaster on it, but it seems to not move at all. This is on a single ram trim, mid.....

    Yes, that is correct. You just have to beat the hell out of it. I have had to drilled some of them out.
