Not trying to resurrect old gremlins here but i was literally about to send Bill a few grand for a built powerhead today! Ive been talking back and forth with him for a while about it until just this morning i searched his name here. Im no fortune teller but its looking like i was about to give away alot of money that i cant spare to lose. Thanks S&F for taking care of a new 2.5l fanboy! Ill definitely be looking elsewhere for my powerhead. What is Driefort made of? I cant seem to find bad words spoken about him.

I always suggest people google me or look thru this site if they don't know me. Been doin business for 40+ years and was told very early on, you do the job right the customer will tell ten people. Do it wrong they tell hundreds. To me this is one of the most important uses for this site. Ain't nothing cheap in this game so do your homework before you transfer any coin.

Anyone that quotes Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe is OK by me smalltownbassin. Great quote used by many very prominent people over the years.

If your in his circle he"ll take care of you, if not - its a roll of the dice. Smart beyond smart with motors, IF he only used his powers for good. Kinda like Longshot stated, we can forgive, but never forget, in the end that will cost him more business, he even managed to piss off longtime friend John Tiger Jr, - that says all I need to know about him.

Funny seeing this thread poke its head every now and again.

Excellent!!! Good that you brought this up, and even better you found the search function. Works pretty good, doesn't it?

Yeah Forkin' ive been one of those guys for a long time that would just sneak around here reading for hours at a time until recently i figured i might as well build a mail box and camp out a while. You guys truly are a wealth of knowledge. Hopefully with enough time i will be one of you. FYI, the search function is the deal for sure!

So sad to see people taking advantage of others. I've almost always had good experiences with that and used to be quite loose when dealing on line, but I sent about 10k of parts to one guy for modification, and can't get em back. Been at that fight for a year now. Live and learn. Glad you found out about him before you made the same mistake I did.

Doesn't matter where you're at, hell I'd rather crate it up and send off to Jay Smith before going this route again - fortunately for me Mike Giesler hooked me up with Bob Albee in Wis. That guy is great and very fair - if your in or around the Wis/ northern Illinois I strongly recommend him as well.

Not sure if many of you have dealt with Bill but I have many times. Fair deal every time. I’ve had zero issues dealing with him.
