    Wire Connectors

    Im Wondering if anyone knows where i could get some male/female Wire connectors like are on Mercury Motors???

    I have a source for all The AMP connectors, I have it at the shop if that is what you are looking for. I make all my own motor harness's. The only part I cannot find is the injector ends that have the wires out the side.

    Allied Electronics, if you can find it in their massive catalog! Drives me nuts trying to find something online - and I've been trying to get them to send me a hardcopy for two years.

    Usually I use the fastenal shrink connecter by cutting the shrink exposing the terminal end of the sleeve, then solder it. The heat of soldering reseals that end, and a little heat gun finished it. It's a very reliable connection.

    Otherwise I use uninsulated terminals, solder them, and install adhesive lined heat shrink.

    i dont think most shrink connectors are what Merc uses theirs are soft insulation not the hard stuff i have never seen the soft ones anywhere EDIT well maybe i just did at this Lawson link going back for a better look
