Linder is now a resident of Sarasota
He finally did it....... as of this week George Linder is officially a Floridian...no more Long Island winters. He and his wife, his dogs, and his 21' Challenger have all moved south. He will be reaching out to Vida, Culver, and Steve Sirois for local info....maybe you guys can hook him up with Odell and some of the other OFF's? He now has no excuse for missing the October event....... Steve, you will love the boat..it runs mid 70's like a dream.
Please take care of him until I retire............ he get's lost easily....

George Linder Is Now A Resident Of Sarasota
George was once a Studley...Now an Old Arbor. Side yard/roof addition turned out nice, for protecting the boat, new pup, etc. Been three years already. Still can't believe he finally did it. Amazing.

Isnt that like the Baddest Challenger ever? Why the Stainless bracket, too much power for the transom?

I love my Linder design. I think he did that for the setback and strength both. My Shadow has the Transom built up 4 or more inches and is stainless plated and has a bunch of stainless and aluminum supports in the splashwell and larger knees under the splashwell as well as stainless plates and radius rods. It is built very solid and flying over waves, the engines do not move at all.
Thanks George Linder, love the boat. This was Chris Majoor's boat from 1987-a few months ago. Most fun boat to drive I have ever had.

Stainless Bracket and bailing well mods were added to allow ease of entry when swimming for George, Ilse, and their various dogs. George no longer drives 10/10ths and comfort for cruising is his key motive at this point. The Grandkids still push it a bit, but it is definitely a conservative setup. However, in heavy chop, I would take his boat against the other, super high, setback, lightened versions, even with his lounge chairs and coolers under the deck and bimini top (folded of course).
