Thanks man. Never thought so many people would like that motor. Told my uncle about how people complemented his motor more than any of my other paint jobs. He got a kick out of it. Jim_Pat I sent you an email.

Yeah, LOTS of prep work on those motors. Most of the motors paint was old, chiped and starting to flake off. Lets just say you get tired of sand paper real quick. I always pull the motors apart to prep them. I've done it enough I've got every bolt memorized good enough I can put them all in a coffee can when I pull it apart and put them back toghter a week later no problem. Seems Like i always have an extra one though Just kidding. Here's a pic of my little project I've been doing for my brother. I think the tops going to be this black metal and the bottom will be silver metal.

I like the sheet metal/rivet motor. Would like to do that to a boat using larger panels.

Got the hood in primer. I'm going to paint it like the riveted metal with a girl on the back. No bomber is complete without a girls painted on it.

I uesd nason non sanding epoxy primer and nason base coat paint and nason urethane clear.
