    Tuners

I have a 2000 225 promax all stock, just bought a 280 15" mid. Can I use the 280 tuner? What would be the gain if any? Or do I use the 225 tuner?

you would have to do the cooling mods if your 280 is a 1 piece adapter plate

Riverboater is correct. Do a search on "cooling mods". Its been discussed 2 or 3 million times so it should be easy to find an old thread talking about it. You could narrow your search by looking at posts by US1

to do it the rite way you would need to pull the heads and install the rubber hose in the water jackets to slow the water flow down

    Between tha 225 PM and tha 280 tuner, I would use tha 280 tuner...Tha PM tunerz ain't hitt'in on much...If ya got a 200, 2.4 bell lay'in around, use it!!!...JMO

If ya use tha 1piece plate, do tha PH tha same az tha 280...diverters, take out tha poppit, and route dump lines like tha 280....Thats az close az U kan git...Tha steel liners like sum heet, but when ya cross worlds, they won't git tha best ov both worlds...
