I think I read that a 28' Tuff w/ dual 250 Mercs will run right at a 100 mph. If true, that is very impressive. Any idea what they weigh?

I think i heard 3500 lbs give or take. For a comparison, our light 27 Kryptonite wih a full tank of gas plus helmuts and gear weighs right at 5000

I am not sure exactly what they weigh, but the lamination is HEAVY. Massive over kill.
The I/O ran 95.5 with a stock 525 EFI, ITS and sportmaster lower. It was the first one and next time they will mount the drive higher. I believe that a Illmor 725/Indy drive is next. They think it will run in the teens.
I will be making a post soon on the newest 21, it is another over the top build. ALL Kevlar, Infused, reduced mass laminate (stronger than stock) with a NEW deck design.2023 TUFF 25

There should be a few Tuffs at the Toronto boat show, I'll get lots of pics.
Rob, why the new deck design?

When Mark designed the Tuff 28, it rapidly became apparent that he obsoleted the Tuff 21 deck design, then the Tuff 16 came out with the 28 profile, and Mark started over to bring the 21 up to the same design trend as the rest of his line.
The Toronto boat show will have a 21 and a 16 at it.2023 TUFF 25
