Seth, so how fast do those 150 and 225 hp boats go? Do they hook up pretty good out of the hole? Very cool.

The 40hp on the yellow trailer runs 53mph and the 60hp behind it runs around 57mph, those things scream. They launch out of the hole too. That 60hp has beatin many of 150-225hp boats.

So, should I be expecting to go to the races in Van Buren this year or is anything being setup yet? I think it would be awsome and I'd love to be able to go to it.

These are the sppeeds we got to the best of my knowledge.
    1648/50 = upper 20's
    1752/60 = lower 30's
    1852/115 = 36-38
    1860/150 = 39-42
    1860/2250ho = 51-55

These are all stock fishing boats. These other guys can make the small engines into screamers that will out run all but maybe the 225ho rig and even it probably.

I would be there to watch these things and run my boat. It's slow but it still sounds fun to race!

Thats insane! Why do they not build a bigger engine like these smaller engines? A stock 225 hauls so a built one would be wicked. I seen guys on bass boat central getting 225 vmaxs up arou d 370 hp. Any idea what one of those with a jet unit would run like?

    bigger engine

there is only so much water you can push out the jet pump. so, bigger doesnt always mean faster untill we find a way to get more water through the pump
You're a daisy if you do!

Ahhh I did not think of that. So is 60mph pretty much the limit for outboard jets due to the limit of water being pushed?
