With the purchase of out Convincor 270 the TBSS was at it's tow limit, but did tow very well except for the short wheelbase towing total of 31ft. @016 Yukon XL Denali w/6.2L and 8spped trans. Yukon even gets better MPG around town 17mpg and on todays tow to river trip computer shows 14. TBSS gets 13mpg around town and 10mpg towing. Still keepin the TBSS as our hotrod!

man no pun intended but i have several buds with the 6.2 ford gasser and their dogs, and suck gas like a big block. I have not heard about the 7.3 maybe it will be better, i know that v10 they made was a pooch too, didnt last long. It blows my mind that Ford makes it fastest truck a 6 cylinder, i sucked quite a few of them up w my Colorado, why dont they do something with that famous 302, maybe put turbos on it. Ford always does weird shyt though

Anybody ever own a Dodge Sprinter van. I have a dually 1 ton with the inline 5 turbo diesel it does not matter what you do that damn thing you always get 21 miles to the gallon and more. Why don't any of these clowns put a engine and transmission like that in a new vehicle. Are they afraid they will last way too long good Lord if they put another diesel in the truck that can last 600,000 miles that would be just wrong eh.
If I don't ask any questions, I'll never learn anything.

Kraz, you know their not gonna put something in a truck that'll last nowadays that's a thing o the past. I wish Chevy would at least offer a dually with a big block for non diesel guys. Today's tech could have that thing around 16mpg with an easy 600hp and 800flb's of pull, and it was always easy to put 300k on one before it needed work.

Moving to AZ so wife said I needed a white truck (and think she had had enough of the exhaust on my old one long tube headers and high flow cats w Corsa cat back and climbing into it with the lift had running boards come on) will only do a 3" in this if I do..
Just got this Ford F-150 3.5 eco twin turbo GTDI 450hp 510 torque 10 speed trans
Max tow package.. with bunch of extras..
You don't even notice the trailer/boat behind you.
Was going to get a SCT x4 programmer for $400 and ad 149 hp and 139..that's with prem
46hp and 72 w 87 still not bad for $400
But damn thing is pretty quick and hell put in sport mode.
This thing makes my old tuned V8 look like a dog! (As much as I liked my old truck)
