Yeah, it was scary watching in real time, thus my coments to you when you came to the pits. Little boat and large wakes don't mix very well at speed. Save it and you for another day.
Like Roger's tag, Black Flag Bill and Mark's coment about always running to the checkered flag.

I dunno Beale, whenever I looked over at him he seemed fine...but from my vantage point, maybe I was not in the best position to say!

I didn't take those pictures, so I was equally amazed when I saw them. You guys were running hard in the rather rough conditions. The waves were so unpredictable...that was the gotch-Ya. I did see JWTjr attempt a moon shot on the back stretch. Good run for everyone in the tunnels / V's.

Dale,
Since you allowed amputation of a pickle fork on an already damaged hull never to be seen by me again sadly there isn't anything for me to reincarnate.

Went by the museum while in MD. They want to extend the display if donors agree. It has been a success.
Catfish is the last Sport J I drove. Ran it the last race of the '73 season after totaling Super Pickle the week before.

Bill and I both stopped racing. I took a promotion and moved. E&T was a way to pay some racing expenses, always updating molds and not making much profit. All the Championships, records, High Points didn't pay for all the hours we put in. It's fun to be part of the Vintage group now.
