Though Ive been sandbagging this forum for more than a decade I finally decided to join after getting the itch to get my pops 67 105 (I believe) on a 62 Sportline back in the water after a 20 year nap.

Thanks Gary I was lucky to get to do projects like this and some of them for OMC it was what kept things interesting for the 40 plus years I worked on them.
    Old post but,

Racer, I can't help thinking that during that time your ability and curiosity might have driven you to use a xflow V4 block and do a custom fit with custom CHRYSLER style defectors pistons and chambers built-in to the V4 heads. Anything's possible if you put enough time to it.

Dan, found this scanned advertisement in a file from 2005.

The print is pretty light, but you can still read, "It was Umbargar and Chrysler all the way"!.. along with his string of victories.
