Pulled these from a Chrysler fan off the net, taken back in the day in OZ from originals.
1978 Decals, likely the same as the one which did exceptionally well on Fox lake one summer of testing as decribed by an OMC guy witnessing the capabilities.
Fully tooled for production, stopped because of marketing was mentioned in comment. Likely the bankruptcy of the mother company dissolving all non core business played the part. Marine division was entirely profitable. Lower unit was powerflow but said to beefed up, likely a version of the i/o 300 drive. Looper 200, just the beginning. strong looking mid and clamps, makes the others look puny. It's been awhile!Last edited by FMP; 08-26-2019 at 07:02 PM.

Well, if I remember right the 45 hp was a UIM D class engine..under 700cc and the 55 hp was a UIM E class engine. Over 700 but less than 850cc

The 55/60 by 78/79 had a megaphone type tuner and a new smaller version of the powerflow lower unit with side bullet water intakes as the 3 and 4 cylinder versions.

A friend of mine is looking for a Chrysler 75 Custom. Does anyone know of where we can find one that might be for sale?
