That is too bad, all these old boats are great to see. The twins on the 15 should have been a quick ride. If you find any more pics of the Chrysler power post them.

Even his old friends who say they think he has one or two haven't talked with him in few. I'm sure I could cut and weld one up , but if it's just sitting around in the dust ? One man has some great video of team Force running well in Kankakee , when he is able to get to it he may transfer it to digital from tape. The intersting thing about the one carb per cyl. A thread on here has a knowledgleable builder doing the ports and a bunch of other goodness to a triple. When done he prop dynos it over 120hp. So with the right pulse timimg/ port height the 4 carb 4cyl should do about 160 at the prop, give or take. I've heard it all, 4 TC carbs and it's a top end powerhouse, better all around with 4 smaller WB carbs. I still think 4 TC's on a 140 big bore / stroker 103 ci + with the right lean jetting will run really well with 5 finger sguare and work cages and port work and all the rest . Thing is, cutting and welding the WB adapters to the TC adapter . TCs' never made it to the triple , so most 4 carb fronts are two WB triples cut and welded , or find a couple of 50 mm sled carbs and run them.
More of the build, gas ports to top rings and boost ports done. Still need to final smooth.

    Tillotson pumpers, not bigger than TC's. I believe some HL's are small 7/8, these are HR's or HD's I think. I will double check. 1 9 /32 or 1 1/2 , don't think they are 1.6" .

    A little different sound than a 150 stacker , 3.375 x 2.876, 103ci for 140hp with four carbs vs 3.3125 x 2.80, 96 ci for the 150hp . 7200/7500 if all is well.

No way that bore and stroke could survive 10k. The piston acceleration will be excessive.

Don't really know how long things would stay together at 10k. Bill has mentioned having turned it past his safe level but how fast and long ? That build was completed and ran but he didn't get enough time on it and something small, ign I think had him on three. Didn't have time to break it in fully but it ran strong. The goal is 100+ , Bills in the low/mid 90s @ 7200/7500. Like to see them run.

I see somebody did some bottom work. Don't know if they were built with a pad but that one has one. Strakes have been worked too.

Oh yes, with only one exception the open bow 154 all HydroVee's from 14 to full size 24 cruisers had the pad and strakes.

4 carbs seemed to work better with horizontal reeds. Built a few this way using 2 of the 3 cylinder front halfs. Rods are too short and light to run 10k.
