Was a Chrysler dealer when they were working on the V6 I was told it made 175 hp and engineering was working to get more, to get more it either gave up low end or longevity. Horizontal front would have helped. They were having a few issues but had planned on releasing the engine. Time took its toll and never made it to market

Even though it was a money maker the bankruptcy forced the corp to basically lose the marine division.
speak of the devil a Charger 140 listing. ( not the V6 )
Post has been deleted , so maybe one of you decided to pick it up. It was a 140 and boat plus an ealier 90 triple.

Stacker 150 ex/tr ports specs/prints. EX 5.460 TR 5.144 +/- 0.010 from case. The 140 shares the same heights but not squared for the most part and a bigger bore and longer stroke. 96 ci for the stacker and 103 ci for the 140!

It would look better with the cover on the motor in my opinion. Love the styling of the Chryslers.
I have a 4 carb motor as well, has the smaller Tillotson float carbs, and the reeds are horizontal.
Might be early Molinari or one of home made, put some pics up of your 4 carb.

Is there any info on what the motors looked like on the "Drag N Fly" Ron Jones drag hydro. Specifically the mids.
    Thanks,

Stackers in the one pic, dual carb. Jack Oxley did the work on the Chrysler Race Lower so from the side view of the black and white it looks like a short Chrysler race mid .

I've never seen a close up photo of the motors. Only the photos you've posted.

They reference the Twister II, which was a fuelie motor. These are two throat but the colour pic shows a lot of black between the carbs and front case. The port motor you can see the black starter , on the starboard engine all that black is too large to be the starter. Maybe they painted the cases black or maybe they are mechanical fuelie motors or maybe they built the tail of the upright from the boat back to past the carbs to provide a higher air pressure area at the carbs. The Twister II used a belt drive off the top of the flywheel and two dual throat t bodies , these dont have that set up . In the b/w side view the carbs seem further forward, so mabye stacks or carb spacers . Either way, would I love to take it for a run. YOu feel like building another ? MN4V , I though this sounded familiar, another Chrysler Racing Evolution thread goes throughthe same thing or the Three cyl thread has some info but the Mc 630 mid and lower I don't think looks like the one. http://www.screamandfly.com/showthread.php?151721-History-of-the-Chrysler-Racing-Outboards-amp-evolution-of-the-racing-lower-unit/page2
