THe first one made the dealer show Nov 77. I saw one at the local Chrysler Marine dealer a couple years later. They made a few , they went from dealer to dealer I think for show. This on is in the WI museum. The lady who works for the museum tool a few pic for me and sent them to me. This one has a hole in the block just behind the distributor, has had the heck run out of it. I have it from a first hand witness that Ron Baker ran a V6 on Fox Lake Il for a summer, could be this one. Story goes he whipped up on every other motor on the lake. The thing went like like crazy. I know of maybe two more.

Gary, think of it as a port to "boost" the effects of the intake/transfer ports.
    Helps them flow/scavenge better.

Thanks Guys..... I understand the porting in the drawings and wanted to know if the term was unique to a type of port modding. Thanks again Gary

At the very least ss prop and cowl stickers, although some Chrysler specs show a tigher higher compression range. Some of 140 Chargers used highring pistons as well as did the other hp Chargers. For the most part I don't think they were square ported like the early 135 stackers but some 140 may have been done . I would say it is possible that some may have had a closer hand approach on the ex ports and other areas. Power trim as well. The 115 also used the larger TC carbs.

Yes, the term is unique to this type of porting. The only variation I know of is a long scallop in a cylinder wall that does not require a port thru the piston. The effect remains the same.
